2017 Adopt a Pet Day Broadway Automotive

The only ones that enjoy long car rides more than us are our furry friends! If you’re looking for a new ride, or a new friend to enjoy your current ride with (or both!), then Broadway Automotive has the perfect event for you. On May 6th, Broadway Automotive will be working with the Bay Area Humane Society to host its 2017 Adopt a Pet Day. The purpose of the event help great people find the perfect pets in need of a good home, and maybe pick out a new family vehicle while they’re at it.

Adopt a Pet Day will be hosted on Saturday, May 6 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Broadway Automotive 1010 S. Military Ave, Green Bay, near the Ford Showroom. We encourage everyone interested in finding a new puppy or kitten to visit us for a chance to meet their new best friend.

And while you’re visiting our lot, feel free to check out the wide variety of pet-friendly vehicles that your new family member is sure to appreciate. Select models like the Ford Escape come with flat-folding back sets for extra room for pets and carriers of all sizes. Employing a pet barrier can also keep pets safe and secure in the back seat, as well as keep them from distracting the driver.

Pet-friendly Car Features

What pet-friendly features should you look for in a new vehicle? Here area few of our suggestions:

• Low ride heights for easy entry
• Rear lift gates for quick and easy loading of pets/carriers/kennel/etc.
• Cargo tie-downs
• Rear air conditioning and heating to keep them comfortable in all weather
• Flat-folding seats and a spacious cabin for larger dogs

If you aren’t looking to expand your family, but would still like to help out the Bay Area Humane Society and the Adopt a Pet Day event, we would greatly appreciate a donation of  nonperishable household items. Items will be put to great use in caring for the animals waiting for homes at the Humane Society. We’ll be holding a drive starting April 22nd and presenting the donations to the Humane Society on Adopt a Pet Day.
