As we get closer to the 2018 model year, we’re learning more about the upcoming models and their specs and features. One of our highly anticipated models is the new 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT, which is reported to offer plenty of updates to its sporty persona. One area in which this sporty hatchback continues to excel is in its sporty engine specs. Here’s what we know so far about the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT engine specs.
Under the hood of the new 2018 Hyundai Elantra sits a carryover 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine that’s been paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission and utilizes a SHIFTRONIC Sport-tuned suspension. With its powerful engine configuration and versatile transmission, the new Elantra is able to produce an impressive 173 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque to deliver an exciting driving experience.
Despite the impressive power found with this model, drivers can also expect excellent efficiency. The Elantra GT is able to achieve up to 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway, making it both fun and practical for everyday driving.
While there’s still some wait before the 2018 model arrives on dealership lots, we here at Broadway Automotive have a selection of the Hyundai Elantra models available for customers to choose from. Just take a look at our inventory to see if there’s one that suits you.
From there, all you have to do is give us a call or schedule an appointment online and we’ll be happy to set you up with a test drive.
