Whether you have a bit of Irish in you, or, like a good Wisconsinite, just enjoy the excuse to enjoy the (unofficial) beverage of the state, St. Patrick’s Day is a great opportunity to meet new folks, have some fun, and eat a good plate of corned beef. If you want a bit of excitement this March 17 (Thursday) and the weekend afterward, keep reading to check out our St. Patrick’s Day Events 2016 Green Bay WI.
With the weird placement of St. Patrick’s Day this year, most places are planning to enjoy multiple weekends of shamrock-laden festivities. We’re listing our events here by location or event name.
Green Bay Shamrock Club St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Starting at 10:30am on Saturday, March 12 (the weekend before St. Patricks’ Day) and running from the City Deck to St. Brendan’s Inn, this event will feature music, fun safe for the whole family and a whole lot of green.
Saint Brendan’s Inn – You can enjoy a little Irish ale all year round at this downtown restaurant, but St. Brendan’s steps it up a notch for St. Pat’s. Saturday March 12 they will be having Live music by Greenmore starting at 11:30am (right after the parade) and live music at 8pm by O’Darby. On the actual day (Thursday, March 17), St. Brendan’s will be having live music all day, with a blessing of shamrocks at 10am. Festivities continue through that weekend. Learn more here.
