The towing capacity of the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 will depend on your engine and trim level choices. The SLE, Elevation, and SLT Trims offer a maximum towing capacity of 11,800 pounds while the AT4 and Denali trims can tow up to 9,200 pounds.

The Integrated Trailer Brake Controller is available to control your trailer brakes for easy stopping. The available Trailer Towing Mirrors offer you a clear view of what’s behind your trailer and will even offer include standard LED turn signal indicators, lower convex mirrors, and heating capabilities. Auto-dimming upper glass and power-fold or manual extend and retract are available with these handy towing mirrors. The Sierra 1500 also offers available Hitch View so you can see where your hitch is as you back up to your trailer. Included with Hitch View, Electronic Parking Brake will automatically activate when you put your Sierra 1500 into park to avoid rollback and hold the alignment you intended.
