2017 Chevy Bolt EV Release Date

The 2017 Chevy Bolt EV was unveiled today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas before a live crowd and a packed Facebook stream. This all-electric vehicle may not hit the lot here at Broadway for some time but it’s forging new ground on the abilities of electric vehicles. While the future may hold a variety of electric trucks and cars, smaller vehicles like the Bolt are probably the first step.

2017 Chevy Bolt Electric Powertrain

Not a lot is known yet about the 2017 Chevy Bolt powertrain. What we do know is that General Motors estimates that it will offer 200 miles of range on a single full charge and will be available for less than $30,000 in some areas after Federal tax credits. The battery pack will be flat and mounted beneath the interior floor to offer some of the best interior space of any small plug-in.
