Ford presented the seventh edition of the storied Mustang sports car, featuring two upgraded engines, completely new interior, and updated but still instantly recognizable looks. The Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger, the new pony's closest rivals, don't have as promising a long-term future even if they have a plethora of enhancements loaded up for the future. Ford has not specified how many horses would be in each power plant, only that there would be more than previously. The new car will continue to be powered by the upgraded 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine and 5.0-liter V-8 engine. A 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission will be offered, depending on the engine used.
Performance Highlights | Technology Features | Safety and Driver Assistance |
2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost engine | 13.2-inch display
| Remote Rev function |
10-speed automatic transmission | Amazon Alexa and Ford Streaming | Ford Co-Pilot360 |

When sales start in the warmer months of 2023, the Mustang will be in its seventh generation. The new exterior allows for much-needed improvements to the Mustang. For those who need speed, there are a variety of distinctive options in addition to the numerous styling and powertrain changes. A Performance Pack equipment upgrade will be available for the Mustang GT and EcoBoost models.
Recaro buckets and an active exhaust are optional for those who value performance above everything else. Ford also offers a Performance Electronic Parking Brake, which is said to make drifting a Mustang easier and imitates a traditional lever-action handbrake.
