2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Release Date
The new Grand Sport Corvette combines a light structure, refined aerodynamics, sport-optimized Michelin summer tires, and a powerful, naturally aspirated engine to deliver the premium track and road experience.
Both a coupe and convertible version of the 2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport will be available in the United States this summer.
2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Performance Specs
The Corvette Grand Sport will feature Michelin Pilot Super Sport Summer Tires, a unique wheel design, Brembo brakes, standard Magnetic Ride Control and electronic limited-slip differential. Like its sibling the 2017 Camaro, this Corvette will be available with a specialty performance package (the Z07), which will add carbon ceramic-matrix brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Cup tires.

The powertrain on the 2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport will be a LT1 V8 engine rated for 460 horsepower, matched to either a seven-speed manual transmission with active rev match or an available eight-speed automatic with paddle-shift and specific performance calibration. The Grand Sport is estimated to offer 1.05 g in cornering capability, with up to 1.2 g with the Z07 package.
The 2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport has distinctive front fender inserts, a Z06-inspired grille, and wide rear fenders. It will be available with the interior and exterior color choices of the Corvette Stingray as well as a variety of specialty options, such as a Heritage package with hash-mark fender graphics in six colors, with hash-mark detail.
