Even better for off-roading enthusiasts, the 2017 Ford F-15o Raptor will come standard with FOX Racing Shox that work to help prevent the truck from bottoming out by optimizing the suspension. Stronger, faster, better (with aluminum)
With a frame made of serious high-strength steel, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor offers a perfect combination of strength and agility to handle any environment. Dropping over 500 pounds from it’s last incarnation, the Raptor has a chiseled new style inspired by Ford’s off-road racing heritage and a wider stance for improved stability in tough terrain.
New and improved engine and transmission
The 2017 Ford Raptor will come standard with a second-generation 3.5-liter Ecoboost engine that promises to deliver on more power than the current 6.2-liter V8 with improved efficiency. Paired with an all-new ten-speed transmission, a new four-wheel drive torque-on-demand transfer case, and improved driver-assist technology, this Raptor should set a new standard on efficiency and off-road performance.
The all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be available in fall 2016. We can’t wait!
