Ecoboost Wins Ward’s 10 Best Engines
Each year, WardsAuto puts out a list of the top engines on the market, and for 2017 the 2.3-liter four-cylinder Ecoboost powering the 2017 Ford Focus RS has received spot on this exclusive list. Delivering 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque when on 93-octane fuel, this engine can launch the Focus RS from 0 to 62 mph in as little as 4.7 seconds. This Ecoboost option will also be available in the 2017 Ford Mustang.[/bscolumns]

In addition to having an engine that can burn up the road, the 2017 Ford Focus RS hatchback also delivers on top engaging handling and premium driving performance. This hot hatchback was named AutoGuide.com Car of the Year for 2017 after five days of grueling testing in the hot track and roads of Southern California. All-wheel drive and an available manual transmission were two features that the judges specifically liked.
