2017 Elantra Eco Powertrain

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco will run off a 1.4-liter Kappa turbocharged engine rated for 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission that offers smooth and engaging shifting for a premium driving experience.

Eco Mileage

The Eco trim powertrain on the new Elantra will offer 32 mpg in city driving and 40 mpg on the highway, for a combined fuel efficiency rating of a stunning 35 mpg. This can save drivers serious money at the pump over time.

Drive Mode Select

Drivers of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco will be able to choose their optimal handling and powertrain output through the Drive Mode Select system. The three available models will be Eco, Normal, or Sport.

Pricing and Features on the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco will have an MSRP of $20,650 plus a freight charge of $835. Elite standard features on this trim include standard LED daytime running lights, the segment-exclusive hands-free Smart Trunk, keyless open and ignition, heated front seats, dual zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, and a seven-inch touchscreen system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features like Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist are also standard on the 2017 Elantra Eco, and help keep drivers safe on the road.
