2018 Ford EcoSport Release Date
The 2018 Ford EcoSport will be the latest competent, attractive and technologically advanced small SUV from Ford, along the lines of the 2017 Ford Escape that made its debut this year. It will arrive at dealerships early in 2018, with a variety trims, feature options, and powerful yet efficient engine choices.
2018 Ford EcoSport Powertrains
Buyers of the 2018 EcoSport will be able to choose between a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, either one mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. We don’t have mileage or output numbers yet, but both of these engines promise to deliver excellent commuting fuel efficiency.
Options on the New EcoSport
Available in S, SE, SES and Titanium trim levels, the 2018 Ford EcoSport will also come with a choice of 10 exterior color choices, and seven ambient lighting options. The interior also has fold-away second-row seats and a removable floor board that can allow owners to optimize their cargo options for long journeys or shopping excursions.
2018 EcoSport Technology
The 2018 Ford EcoSport will come with premium technology features. Some of these available features include a 10-speaker sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio, an eight-inch touchscreen system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and several charging power outlets. The SYNC 3 infotainment system offers hands-free control.
