(Green Bay, Wis.) – Broadway Automotive announced, today, it is purchasing the existing Hertz franchise located at the Appleton International Airport, extending its operations within Northeast Wisconsin.
Broadway is purchasing the franchise from Red Top Cab, a Wisconsin corporation in operation since 1945, and one of the oldest franchisees in the Hertz system. At its high point, the location employed 20 team members. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has shuttered this location since early August of this year.
Broadway co-owner and managing partner, David Cuene, says, “We look forward to rebuilding this location to a fleet of several hundred vehicles, and serving the Fox Valley for their rental needs.”
Broadway also owns and operates the Hertz franchise at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay, and will reopen the Hertz location at the Appleton International Airport as of October 1, 2021.
