As back to school fever begins to die down and the Packers Hall of Fame begins to get new visitors with the return of regular season football, families and individuals may begin looking for the perfect tailgating truck. While the ideal tailgating vehicle may depend on the individual, Ford trucks are the Official Truck of the National Football League, which may be a good place to start.

Ford and NFL Partnership
Ford’s partnership with the NFL will last for at least three years. During that time, truck enthusiasts from around the country will be able to enjoy new tailgating opportunities from Ford. One of the neatest new enhancements is a fleet of specialized Built Ford Tough Tailgating Trucks that will be available to order through the football season in select cities. Currently, fans in New York City can order one of these trucks though the Uber app.
Each Built Ford Tough Tailgating Truck will be an all-new Ford Super Duty (we would guess an F-250) that will also offer satisfying tailgating food and merchandise. As you know, there is a lot to love about Ford F-Series vehicles, and we like the Super Duty for its confident power.
What Is The Ideal Tailgating Vehicle?
The ideal tailgating vehicle will depend on the fan and the environment, but we have a few opinions. A reliable, large truck with plenty of cabin room is ideal for pre-partying before a game either outside or inside the vehicle. Having a powerful battery that can be used to run radios or sound systems is ideal. It is also good to have a generous pickup bed that can hold drinks, snacks, chairs, and maybe even a grill for the pre-game party. We like the Ford F-150 or the Chevy Silverado light-duty trucks for our living and tailgating needs.
