2018 Ford F-150 Engine Options
The upcoming 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck is boasting a tougher, smarter and even more capable build than ever before. With plenty of advancements and changes making their way to the Ford staple model, one of the biggest differences is the new engine options available with the new 2018 Ford F-150.
For the new model year, the 2018 Ford F-150 has more engine options, catering to the needs of a wider variety of drivers.
First, the standard engine for the new F-150 is a 3.3-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine. That’s followed by the 2.7liter EcoBoost®, as well as a 50-liter Ti-VCT V8 Engine and a 3.5-liter Ecoboost Engine. All of these options are paired to a 10-speed transmission and deliver improved performance and acceleration.
Not to be forgotten is the 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. This powerful version of the pickup offers two options as well – a unique, high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost as well as an all-new 3.0-liter Power Stroke® Diesel engine for improved power and efficiency.
