2022 Maverick Powertrain Options and Capabilities
Built to make the Maverick stand out, two hybrid powertrains will be offered for this exciting new pickup truck. Standard in the 2022 Maverick, enjoy a 2.5L full hybrid engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This standard powertrain has a targeted EPA-estimated fuel economy of 40 city MPG, 33 highway MPG, and 37 combined MPG.
For added strength, the available 2.0L EcoBoost® engine will offer drivers 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The available 4,000-pound Trailer Tow Package and available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive will also be offered with this engine to maximize its performance.
Additionally, the Maverick will come with a 4.5-foot FLEXBED™ to make hauling easy. With a maximum payload capacity of 1,500 pounds, bring your needed cargo along for your next adventure! Its multi-position tailgate, two available 400-watt 110V outlets, and tie-downs will enhance your convenience.

Seating up to five passengers, the 2022 Maverick will offer a rich selection of interior features and technologies.
